Visa to Russia

A Russian visa includes the following information:

Surname and name (written in Russian and Latin letters)
Date of birth, gender, citizenship (nationality)
Number of the main document that proves identity of a foreign citizen or a person without citizenship
Visa issue date
Allowed duration of stay in the Russian Federation
The number of the invitation for entry into the Russian Federation or the number of a state body decision
Visa validity term, information on the inviting organization (inviting physical person), number of entries granted by the visa

Visa validity term can be extended during a foreign citizen’s stay in the Russian Federation.
One should apply for a Russian visa no sooner than 45 days before the intended visit.
A standard private visa is issued for a period of up to three months.
A standard business visa is issued for a period of up to one year.
A standard tourist visa is issued for a period of up to one month.
There can be a single-entry visa, double-entry visa and multi-entry visa.
A foreign citizen who has entered the Russian Federation must register within 3 business days from entry.

TO APPLY FOR A VISA to Russia, you need to fill in the application questionnaire and attach the following:

1. Valid passport with two clear pages for the visa
2. 2 photos of passport size
3. Payment (check or money order made out to Multichoice Group)
4. If you had USSR or Russia citizenship, you need to attach a copy of your old USSR passport (the page with personal data and photo, visa with which you left the country/immigrated, and border-crossing stamp) or a copy of a document that proves lack of/abandonment of Russian citizenship. Otherwise, your visa application will not be considered.

Then you need to forward this document package to the following address:

Please send your documents with a certified postal service (USPS Express, Fedex, UPS, etc.)
Please note that Multichoice Group cannot guarantee your visa issue by the embassy/consulate.
The embassy/consulate reserves the right to invite you for an interview in order to make a decision on your visa application.

THE EMBASSY/CONSULATE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO INVITE YOU TO AN INTERVIEW, WHICH YOU NEED TO ATTEND PERSONALLY SO THE DECISION ON YOUR VISA APPLICATION CAN BE MADE.
